Prerequisites

The renter of the vehicle must be at least 25 years old, have passed the practical test and be in possession of a valid driver's license. The renter must also have been in possession of a driving license for 3 years. Third-party drivers must be notified to the hirer before the start of the rental period and must be recorded in the rental contract; the same general terms and conditions apply.

Reservations

The reservation of the vehicle must be made in writing, by telephone, in person, by e-mail or contact form. The renter undertakes to pay 20% (at least CHF 80.00) of the rental price when making the reservation. Rental Cars Russo AG must be contacted in writing at least 48 hours before the start of the rental if the reservation cannot be kept, in which case the deposit paid will be refunded. If the reservation is canceled later than 48 hours before the start of the rental period, the renter will be charged 20% of the rental price. If the hirer cancels the reservation less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period or does not appear at the start of the rental period, Rental Cars Russo AG reserves the right to charge the hirer the full rental amount. In the event of bad weather, the rental company reserves the right not to hand over the vehicle to the renter and to arrange a new date.

Rental price/deposit

The rental price is agreed with the rental company before the start of the rental period. Additional mileage costs

CHF 3.00/KM (all sports cars)

CHF 1.00/KM (Fiat 500).

If a vehicle is reserved, 20% (at least CHF 80.00) of the rental price must be paid. The remaining amount must be paid in cash at Rental Cars Russo AG at the start of the rental period. The deposit is CHF 1000.00 and must be paid in cash before the start of the rental period.

The renter is obliged to bear the costs incurred in the following cases: theft of or damage to the vehicle, professional cleaning, towing of the vehicle, tolls, fines for parking violations or traffic offenses, other fines and fees as well as the associated administrative and processing fees.

 The rental prices are exclusive of VAT.

Insurance

All Rental Cars Russo AG vehicles are fully insured. The insurance is included in the rental price.
The excess is CHF 2,000.00. Damage to the engine, gearbox, rims, tires (excessive wear and tear) and damage to the interior of the vehicle are not insured; this damage is the responsibility of the renter. In the event of a claim, the excess must be paid immediately in cash.

Claim

In the event of accidents of any kind, the renter is obliged to contact the police and Rental Cars Russo AG immediately and have a police report drawn up.
To the extent permitted by law, we will charge a fee for the costs incurred by us.

Liability

The landlord excludes any kind of liability.

Traffic violations

Rental Cars Russo AG is not liable for any traffic violations committed by the renter. All costs will be passed on to the renter. You are obliged to pay our handling fee for the processing of fines and charges.

Fuel

Fuel is always at the expense of the hirer. The vehicle is collected with a full tank of fuel and must always be returned with a full tank. IMPORTANT: ALL VEHICLES MUST be refueled with AT LEAST LEAD-FREE 98. The fuel receipt must be presented when returning the vehicle.

Use of the vehicle

You are obliged to exercise reasonable care and skill when using the vehicle, to use the vehicle only in accordance with the legal requirements of the country in which you are driving, to use the vehicle only in a lawful manner and only for lawful purposes, to use the correct fuel, to lock the vehicle when you are not using it and to ensure that all windows, roof openings, removable roof panels and the bonnet are properly closed, when you are not using it and to ensure that all windows, roof openings, removable roof panels and the hood are properly closed, to stop using the vehicle immediately if you discover a defect in the vehicle as soon as this is possible without risk and to notify us of this immediately.

Prohibited use

The renter is prohibited from using the vehicle:

a. for participation in motor sport events, vehicle tests and for driving instruction. Switching off the ESP, practicing a race start (launch control), drifting, speeding or racing is expressly prohibited.

b. for the transportation of goods or persons for a fee.

c. to tow, haul or otherwise move another vehicle, as the rental vehicle is not a vehicle intended for this purpose.

d. in an overloaded condition, i.e. with a number of persons or a payload that exceeds the values specified in the vehicle registration document.

e. for the transportation of flammable, explosive, toxic or dangerous substances.

f. for the commission of customs offenses and other criminal offenses, even if these are only punishable under the law of the place where the offense was committed.

g. for subletting.

After returning the vehicle, the journey is read out on the computer and the renter is liable for any damage.

Rental Cars Russo AG can call up the location of the vehicle during the rental period and switch off the vehicle remotely in an emergency.

It is also prohibited to park in narrow parking spaces and underground garages and to eat, drink or smoke in the rental vehicle.

The consumption of alcohol and other narcotics is strictly prohibited before and during the rental period.

The vehicle may only be driven in Switzerland, driving abroad is prohibited!

Breach of contract

In the event of a breach of contract, Rental Cars Russo AG will charge a penalty fee of up to CHF 2,000.00 plus compensation for costs.

Checkout / Checkin

The vehicle will be handed over and returned at Feldackerstrasse 9 in 5040 Schöftland. A record of the condition of the vehicle will be kept in the rental agreement when the vehicle is handed over and returned. If you do not return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel, you will have to pay for the amount of fuel used and you will be charged an additional CHF 20.00 in compensation.

Unless otherwise agreed, you must return the vehicle on the day/time and at the location specified on this rental agreement. If you anticipate that you will be late, it is in your interest to request an extension of the rental period at least one hour in advance. If you are late, you will pay the additional rental hours/day (CHF 50.00 per ½ hour) for the vehicle plus a late return fee.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

This contract is subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Aarau.
